Unfulfilled dreams

James and Evelyn are part of a growing senior citizen population in Medina County that has grown weary with the misery of life. Each year, more and more senior citizens, through no fault of their own, find themselves slipping into poverty, as are James and Evelyn. At one point, they believed they had planned well for their golden years. Now Evelyn's health has failed to the point that James must care for her every need. Money once saved is spent on hospital bills, medical treatments and prescription medications. Grocery shopping and simple household expenses once taken for granted, has become UN-affordable and add to their feelings of lonely, hopeless desperation.

James and Evelyn are not alone; and with help from Love INC of Medina County, they should never feel hopeless and alone. Love INC was able to offer resources for food and personal care items, financial assistance for delinquent utility payments, and a personal mentor to help James make sound financial decisions. Love INC also provided James and Evelyn a connection to a local church that will continue to meet their needs, both physically and emotionally. And most importantly, a spiritual connection to God through Love In the Name of Christ.
